Are reservations needed for wine tastings or visiting the winery?

All of our seating is first come first serve. We do not take reservations as the average length of stay by our guests fluctuates so dramatically. Wine tastings and flights are available during normal hours but may be limited during live music events.  Please note we may not be able to accommodate large groups over 8 during peak times. We appreciate your understanding of this as we want to ensure everyone has a wonderful experience during their visit to Cellar 426.

Do you allow customers to bring in outside food to the the winery?

Cellar 426 offers various food options for you to enjoy with our wine, as a result we do not allow outside food or drink to be brought in or consumed in our indoor and outdoor areas. This includes cakes for birthdays, showers, etc. Please see our menu for our offerings. 

What is your donation policy?

We are pleased to support worthy causes through our donation policy, although we are not able to honor every request. Because of the overwhelming number of deserving requests we receive, we must limit our donations. We ask that organizations limit their requests to one (1) per year in order to help the greatest number of organizations. Please submit via email to wine@www.cellar426.com information on the event including where and when it will be held, how many attendees will be there, and how are donation may be used. All requests for donations must be received at least 30 days prior to the event. Submitting a request does not guarantee your event or organization will receive a donation. Cellar 426 Winery does not ship any wine or merchandise donations. These must be picked up at the Winery in Ashland.

Do you host weddings and/or wedding receptions at the winery?

Sorry, as we have chosen to focus on our wine and tasting room we do not do weddings or receptions at Cellar 426.

Is photography allowed at the winery?

We are thrilled that everyone love's the beauty and atmosphere we have created at Cellar 426 Winery. Spontaneous personal pictures taken to commemorate your visit and time at the winery with your friends and family are not a problem. To ensure the enjoyment of all our guests, professional photography, or the like, of events like weddings, graduations, etc are not allowed during regular business hours unless there has been prior accommodations/approval made with the Winery. 

Do you have a private room to rent for special occasions?

We offer rentals on a limited basis. Please email us at wine@cellar426.com for more information.

Do you have gift certificates?

Yes we have gift certificates in which you can get in any  denomination if you stop in to purchase or you can order by phone and we can mail it out to you. You can also order gift certificates online in select denominations by clicking here and we will mail them out.

Do you grow your own grapes?

Yes, we have 3 acres of vineyards on the winery property which produce grapes for our wines. We also work with several vineyards from southeastern Nebraska that provide us with the additional grapes we need to meet our production demands. Hundred Hills Hops & Vines in Prague grows Frontenac and Petite Pearl Grapes for Cellar 426 as well Edelwiess near Raymond.

Do you sell wine gift baskets?

Yes, we can make you a lovely gift basket of Cellar 426 wine and wine related items for that perfect gift. Call ahead so we can make you a unique and personal creation with the items of your choice.

Do you have outside seating?

Yes, we have a beautiful deck that overlooks the valley affording gorgeous views, glimpses of wildlife, and a great place to enjoy a glass of wine. We also have patio seating below the deck and by the barn for you to enjoy as well.

Do you ship your wines?

YES! Due to governmental regulations we can ship our wines to the following states:

Arkansas, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, with special process shipping to Alabama and California.

Can I find your wine in any retail locations?

Our wines are available at many retail stores on the east side of Nebraska. For a full list of store click here: https://cellar426.com/shop. We’ll be adding a few select locations in the state as we determine the best spots for our wines. If you have a favorite location you’d like to see Cellar 426 Wines carried at let your store know you want Cellar 426 Wines!

Can I bring my dog to Cellar 426?

Dogs are welcome in our grass areas as long as they are on a leash and they are picked up after. Please understand, only service dogs are allowed inside the winery or on the winery deck, which is an extension of our facility. If your dog does cause an issue for other customers, we may ask you to keep it in your vehicle or ask you to leave. Thanks for understanding this policy.

Do you offer group tours of the winery facility?

Group tour packages are available for groups of 8 or more during normal hours with one week advanced notice. Special arrangements can be made for tour & tasting package at other times with a minimum of 15 people. We also offer a Tour & Taste Experience once month on a Sunday - check our events page to sign up!

This is such a wonderful place tucked in my new fave town of Ashland, NE. The tasting room is beautiful, the staff are amazingly sweet and helpful, and the wine is oh so delish! I also LUV their seasonal sangria, mulled wine and live music. Thanks to the owners for sharing their LUV of wine with us!
